Pathfinder Mission was established in
Waveland, Ms in April 2006 in response to the tremendous devastation
and loss resulting from Hurricane Katrina. Since that time
hundreds of families have been helped through this ministry by the
grace of God and through the hands and contributions of individuals,
families and churches.
Now we are in Haiti, fulfilling the Lord's command
to visit the orphans in their affliction.
Because we chose not to burden friends of
the ministry with frequent fundraising appeals, many assume that our work is
underwritten or supported by some large organization or
denomination. When in fact Pathfinder is completely dependent upon
God's provision through His people.
If you would like to help us with financial support, here is how
you can do it.
Pathfinder is designated as a
501c3 Charity by the IRS and registered as a Mississippi non-profit
corporation. All donations are tax deductible.
Donate by Check
When you write a check be specific about how you
want the money spent. If you would like to help
support Martie and me then include a note with your check
indicating that your donation is for "Elgin Personal Support",
otherwise indicate it's for operations or rebuilding. Sometimes
we receive a donation that simply says "for the most pressing
needs of the ministry". In those cases that donation is always
used for rebuilding or operational expenses and will not be used
